Bosch 550 cc Injectors with Pig Tails for Gen 1 MINI
If you have tuned your Gen 1 MINI then you may be aware that the stock MINI injectors will start to hit their maximum duty cycle at the top of the rev range. In order to combat this, bigger injectors will be needed.
The Bosch 550cc injectors are able to function at high fuel pressures and don't exhibit the high fuel pressures without the problems that are found in other high flow injectors. Both engine performance and running quality of the R53 are enhanced through the optimised spray pattern the injectors have. This can lead to greater power increases when the injectors are combined with performance camshafts, a big valve ported cylinder head and other power-related modifications when combined with ECU tuning.
These bigger injectors are ideal for high power applications for the MINI R53. The injectors come with wire harnesses (pigtails) which convert the stock harness to fit the new injectors.
Please note: The Bosch 550cc Injectors will require an ECU remap.
