To get the best performance from your brakes, it is recommended to use high-performance brake lines, especially if you use your MINI for fast road or track use. Under heavy braking, standard rubber hoses can expand due to the pressure of the brake fluid in the system when the brake pedal is applied. This reduces the efficiency of the brakes as the hose expands first before the pressure is applied to the brake pads. This expansion in the brake hose gives the pedal a spongy feeling. By replacing the standard hoses with Goodridge Braided hoses you help to maintain the pressure in the braking system that gives the driver a firmer brake pedal.
These Goodridge high-performance brake lines are suitable for all MINI F56 & F55 models. This includes the latest caliper found on the 306bhp JCW Clubman, Countryman and the GP3. These kits replace the front and rear MINI brake lines, are zinc coated and come in the colour black.
