Greenstuff Pads
Greenstuff pads are designed for drivers that want a better bite when braking in everyday road use. Greenstuff are the ultimate performance/fast street brake pads you can get for your MINI. These pads have a high friction coefficient, great initial bite from cold, right up to a potential 650 degrees centigrade. Another major benefit of the Greenstuff compound is its award-winning feature of being LOW DUST. These pads cut down between 60-90% of the dust common with most competitive types of semi-metallic pad on your alloys keeping wheels cleaner and delivering performance at the same time. 'Best Suited' for fast road use.
Redstuff Pads
If you're planning to attend track days then uprating your pads to EBC Redstuff will suit you best - these pads work at higher temperatures and are less likely to fade under heavy braking. This is a truly impressive fast road pad for repeated heavy braking. It emits far less dust than semi-metallic pads and has been proven to stop a saloon car 13 metres quicker than OEM pads from 100mph/160kph. 'Best Suited' for heavy fast road and light track use.
Mintex M1166
A performance brake pad for track day and racing use for MINI’s with standard calipers. Designed to be more of a race pad than the M1155. With positive pressure modulation and high fade resistance. Mintex brake pads are used in the JCW Challenge and are a tried and tested way of improving your standard braking system. The M1166 is not made for the rear calipers as they are not subject to such extreme conditions as the front. If you want to upgrade the rear brakes as well you can use the M1144 pad.
