Lohen has in-house Autologic diagnostic equipment to identify issues with your MINI – if your car throws an EML you don’t have to go to a dealership to find out what’s wrong. A modern car can produce thousands of different fault codes. Having the correct diagnostics equipment is vital for identifying fault codes and warning messages.
Sensors in your vehicle continually report to the ECU (Engine Control Unit) on how they are performing. If a problem occurs, it logs a fault code on the ECU’s memory. A diagnostic code reader has to be used to read the fault or message and to clear any fault codes from the memory. Faults that create a fault code will not always activate a warning light.
