MINI F56 B48 Tuning Lohen Performance Pack 2
Prior to starting work on your MINI the following tests and checks will be carried out to help determine if this type of upgrade is sutiable for your MINI. We will share the finding of the tests to allow youto make an informaed decisions and understand what maintainance work may be required and when. Checks completed as pert of the Performance Pack 2:
- A visual health check (VHC)
- An combustioin gas test - to determine if exhaust gas is entering the coolant - here we're looking at the condition of the cylinder head gasket, cylinder head and water jacket
- A compression test - to check the compression values are within tolerence. Lower compression will result in poor perfromacne and is a sign of engine wear.
- A leak down test - helps to determine if there are leaks from the combustion chamber looking at valve and piston ring integrity.
Within this kit, we include a set of NGK performance spark plugs found in the JCW, High flow performance ITG filter that will help increase airflow, a Forge Motorsport performance intercooler to help keep your B48 2-litre turbo engine MINI at safe working intake air temperatures and finally a 200 Cell HJS Sport Sports Cat downpipe to help improve airflow from the turbo. The HJS sports catalyst is EC marked and approved for street use. The hardware modifications are then brought together with a Stage 2 ECU remap for your Cooper S or JCW or GP.
The B48 Performance Pack 2 is a complete service that is installed at Lohen.
Typically the package records a flywheel horse power figure of around 300 bhp and more than 460 Nm of torque (Manual gearboxes only, auto's will make less torque around 400 Nm).
The price of this package includes all fitting labour and before and after dyno runs to give you before and after bhp and torque figures.
Must be mapped for 98/99 ron fuel only.
