The Schroth Profi II ASM FE is a 4-point racing harness that allows your MINI to stay street legal due to the push button release buckle. This Schroth harness is a premium safety product that offers top of the rage safety features as well as superior comfort.
The webbing used in Schroth harnesses is made from Polyester rather than Nylon, this gives Schroth harnesses a longer life span and allows them to be used in any weather as Polyester does not absorb moisture or suffer from degradation under light. The Polyester webbing used by Schroth has a better force/elongation ratio so can convert more engine during an accident making it safer in a collision.
Schroth harnesses feature their patented ASM (Anti Sub Marining) technology that features a safety advantage over competing 4-point harness designs. Their system stops the occupant from sliding underneath the lap of the belt during frontal impacts, helping reduce the risk of injury that can occur whilst using a 4-point harness without ASM.
Finally the Schroth Profi II ASM FE uses QuickFit technology, with the harness using the factory female receptacles as attachment points. This allows the vehicle to recognize if a passenger is buckled into a seat and thus, can use OEM airbags and pyrotechnic pre-tensioners built into the car that automatically tighten the lap belt 2” on impact.
