KW Automotive Clubsport Coilovers for Gen 3 MINI
If you are a regular track day goer with your MINI F56 Cooper, Cooper S, JCW or GP and you are looking for coilover set to compliment, then look no further than the KW Clubsport. These kits have been designed to spend most of their time on the track but they are still able to get you home. They are intended for someone who wants more than the Variant 3 coilovers can offer, but doesn’t want the cost and harshness associated with the race coilovers.
The Clubsport coilovers have been developed for those who are looking to build a road legal track weapon. They are designed primarily for track use and occasional road use, hence if you drive your car to the track (rather than trailer it), then the KW Clubsport is ideal for you.
These coilovers are built to the same high standards that you have come to expect from KW. They are “Inox-line” coated which gives them excellent weather resistance, meaning they will remain easily adjustable even after many road journeys to and from the track. As with any coilover they are height adjustable and feature a separate bound and rebound adjustments.
To make them more suitable for the track KW have used a linear race spring, added new front top mounts and reinforced the internals of the dampers. The use of race springs means that should you require different spring rates for your suspension, the entire range of motorsport springs can be used. The stronger internals will be able to withstand more track time and will cope better with the abuse that they will get on track.
Please Note: These coilovers are not designed for Competition use and due to the intended nature of use DO NOT carry a warranty.
Where fitted from factory, the coilover system does not use the cars electronic suspension adjustment feature. A blacking module is supplied for cars with the option which is required to avoid warning lights as a result of disconnecting the adjustment module.
