Timing Chain Death Rattle Fix for N14 Engine

Death Rattle is an issue that is commonly found in the MINI Cooper S N14 engine 2007 - 2010 and MINI JCW 2007 - 2012. The issue relates to a chain tensioner becoming less efficient or failing which leads to a slacking of the timing time which in turn hits timing chain guide rails and as lead to damage to these guides.
Maintenance of the timing chain is essential to ensure a healthy engine and prevent what can be significant engine damage. 

Death Rattle Fix involves changing major timing kit components and an oil service.
