AEM Air Intake System - N18 Cooper S & JCW (Gen 2)

Founded in the USA over 20 years ago, AEM were one of the first manufacturers who designed performance aftermarket induction systems with specific tube lengths and diameters to take advantage of pressure waves in the inlet tract, and to begin producing induction kits to maximise the cold air entering the combustion chamber to maximise power increases. The quality of the AEM intake kit is fantastic and that together with the superb power gains is what makes AEM a great induction choice for the serious MINI tuner, the K&N air filter included traps dust and debris through an extremely durable synthetic media, the filter incorporates a metal screen on the outside that enhances airflow and aids in keeping the pleating in the proper position.

The AEM has been designed specifically for the N18-engined R56 MINI to deliver cool air to the K&N air filter supplied, unlike any other R56 intake kit the AEM comes with an air duct, which mounts, to the bonnet making the bonnet scoop functional after removing the plastic grill. • Fits All N18 JCW's
• N18 Cooper S models manufactured before March 2012 will require the intake pipe from a Cooper S manufactured after March 2012
• This kit is currently only compatible with the AEM strut brace.
