If you're choosing to modify an earlier R53 2002/2003 built car by installing a CAE or Coolerworx short shifter these will be required If you are planning on fitting a CAE short shifter to your MINI and it was made before 01/2004, then you will need these extra gear shift cables to be able to install the CAE short shifter successful
