This Helix 6 paddle plate has the same torque rating as the 4-paddle plate being able to handle up to 295lb/ft of torque (401Nm). The benifit of this plate is the higher number of contacts which will give the driver a more progressive smooth feeling during gear changes which should be more suitable to people who prefer the organic drive plates or OEM MINI drive plates.
The paddle clutch also generates less noise than the 4 paddle making it a more usable option for daily driving
This drive plate is designed for competition use due to its cerametallic material used in the six pads as its friction properties are retained at much higher temperatures than that of the organic material.
