



N14/N18 High Pressure Fuel Pump For Gen 2 MINI's
One of the common problems on the Gen 2 1.6l turbo charged MINI has always been the high-pressure fuel pump. Even on the revised N18 engine, the high-pressure fuel pump failing still seems to be a common issue.
Some common signs your MINI high-pressure fuel pump may be failing can be that your MINI struggles to start from cold, idles poorly or has hesitation to rev when driving the car hard.
To select the correct fuel pump, check your engine variant and date of build. Date of build can be found in the door well on the passenger side, see the image example included.
The N14 engine was fitted in R55 Clubman, R56 hatch, R57 convertible, R58 Coupe and R59 Cooper S 2007 - 2009 and JCW 2007 to 03/2012.
The pump suitable N18 engine 2010 - 03/2012 was present in R56 hatch, R57 convertible, R58 Coupe and R59Cooper S 2010 - 03/2012
N18 04/2013 onwards was present on R56 hatch, R57 convertible, R58 Coupe and R59, R60 Countryman and R61 Paceman Cooper S, JCW and GP models. Please note that this requires an adapter wiring harness to be installed - see related items below.
