Samco Turbo Boost Hose Kit For MINI (Gen2)

The Samco Sport boost hose kit is designed to replace the original equipment both for track and fast road use. Superb integrity and superior performance reduces the risk of failure and enables higher temperatures and pressures to be maintained with confidence. This boost hose kit replace 5 hoses.

Among the 5 hoses that are replaced is the sound resonator hose. The sound resonator which is found on the Generation 2 Minis is designed to change the acoustics of the air intake system. It is designed to decrease engine noise by creating sound frequencies to cancel out unwanted noise during the induction process. By removing this and replacing it with the Samco hose you can increase the sound of the intake system especially at lower rpm creating a more throaty sounding effect.

We recommend using good quality hose clips with silicone. Never use clips that have the drive mechanism perforating the inside of the clip. We can supply a clip pack to suit this kit.
