Given the age of Gen 1 MINIs, Lohen is experiencing more and more vehicles in need of a replacement lower engine mount due to split rubbers. Of course you can fit an OEM mount and look to add Powerflex inserts to the standard part but we charged Powerflex with creating a complete bush replacement and they obliged. If you're looking for a fit and forget solution, this is a great option for you.
This Lower Engine Mount Large Bush has been designed with radial slots to allow a small amount of movement controlling the noise, vibration and harshness but still offering superior control of the engine movement. This not only helps improve power delivery and traction allowing for a more direct drive but it reduces exhaust down pipe, hose and wiring stress/failure.
Powerflex also supplies an insert with the bush which you can choose to fit if they want to stiffen up the bush, great for track days for those that want comfort during the week. Please note: BMW mount not included.
