Supertech MINI F56 Forged Pistons For B48 Cooper S & JCW Engines
The MINI generation 3 Cooper S and JCW engine is known to suffer from weak pistons that limit the amount of performance you can push through its 2-litre block. If you have suffered from piston failure these pistons are a straight fit and cheaper than buying replacement pistons direct from MINI. These Supertech forged pistons will fit Cooper S and JCW B48 engines found in the F54, F55, F56, F57 and F60.
Having been making pistons for over 40 years, Supertech bring performance forged pistons to the F series MINI that are strong and lightweight, using enhanced 4032 alloy Supertech pistons have been able to withstand up to 42psi of boost without any problems. Supertech pistons feature a 'phosphate dry lubricant' coating that protects the piston rings from 'micro welding' and improves lubricant on the cylinder area.
The Supertech B48 piston is supplied in a variety of sizes to suit the needs of the engine i.e. if a bore is required due to scoring.
