Turbosmart Electronic Control Blow Off Valve (BOV) For N14 MINI Engines
Working with Turbosmart and tested in house at Lohen HQ, the goal of this electronic control valve was to create a BOV (blow-off valve) that flagged no fault codes and that was a direct bolt-on plug and play product.
This product is a complete electronic control valve that replaces the whole OEM unit, unlike other aftermarket valves that do not replace the OEM solenoid.
Designed specifically with mapped MINI's in mind, these products were tested on both our N14 stage 1 and stage 2 MINI Cooper S demo cars to ensure fitment, reliability and performance were as expected. From carrying out before and after power runs on our stage 1 demo car Penny, you can see from the dyno graphs, our demo car made an extra 10 bhp from using the Turbosmart EM Series Valve compared with the stock unit with the recirculation valve making slightly more power and torque than the atmospheric version.
If you want the turbo blow off noise please select the atmospheric version from the drop-down box, if you want the absolute best performance for your MINI Cooper S or JCW, please select the recirculation variant.
Performance is enhanced due to these Turbosmart valves minimising boost leakage and maintaining a rapid response to ensure the maximum amount of boost is held at any given time. Target boost will be achieved without putting any extra stress on the turbo and wastegate.
These Turbosmart valves require no other adapters or hoses to fit and feature a billet construction with high-temperature O-rings to ensure reliable performance for your MINI.
