K1 Technologies Connecting Rods for MINI N14/N18

Engineered for strength, precision, and endurance, K1 Technologies Connecting Rods are designed to meet the demands of high performance and motorsport applications. Each connecting rod is manufactured from 4340 forged steel, a high-tensile alloy renowned for its superior fatigue resistance and durability under extreme stress. This material undergoes a multi stage heat treatment and shot-peening process to maximise strength and lifespan, making these rods ideal for high-boost turbocharged MINI N14 and N18 engines. 

These connecting rods are not suitable for use with the Supertech pistons. Only suitable for use with the Wossner or Wiseco piston. This is because the rod small end is not tapered. 

To ensure absolute reliability, every rod is equipped with ARP 2000 fasteners, providing exceptional clamping force and resistance to stretch at high RPM. The combination of these premium materials and fasteners gives the K1 rods outstanding structural integrity, capable of handling increased cylinder pressures and power levels well beyond OEM specifications.

Each rod is CNC machined to exacting tolerances and balanced to within a gram, ensuring consistent performance across all cylinders and maintaining engine balance. The small-end bushings are precisely honed for full-floating piston pins, further enhancing reliability and smooth operation under heavy load.
